Samsung QLED- a closer look at Quantum Dot Technology
Starting from 2015... BACK in 2015, Samsung was the first brand to launch an HDR-capable TV. Since then, it has continued to set the pace when it comes to unlocking the COLOR potential, full BRIGHTNESS , CONTRAST of the HDR format . For years now Samsung has been at the forefront of LED/LCD TV technology. It delivers design and feature innovations that have made it become the biggest selling TV brand globally. Its latest and most significant step towards mastering HDR is QLED. QLED? What's it? To understand QLED, firstly, we need to take a closer look at the definition of the words "QLED"-------- What does "QLED" stand for? [See diagram 1] The LED part of QLED stands for light-emitting diode (The lighting system used in the majority of LED/LCD TVs). The important bit of QLED is the Q, which stands for Quantum Dot. In short, an easier way to understand what's QLED is to understand Quantum Dot Technology. That's simple....
